WOW seeks to provide its 150+ members the opportunity to learn about their community, support local charitable and civic activities, and socialize in an atmosphere of friendliness and goodwill. Aside from the luncheon meetings held monthly from September through May, WOW members are active in 16 clubs and activities throughout each month. In addition, several activities are planned where members can contribute their time and expertise or enjoy social outings with other members. Examples of these are day trips, fund raising activities and volunteering at our charity.

Hello Ladies!......
I had so much fun at the January luncheon’s Treasure Sale. I used my $5 for a nice purse. I had my eye on the Kate Spade purse but it was snapped up before my blue ticket was called. I hope you are happy with your treasure. Thank you, ladies, for donating so many nice items. Many of the items were brand new and a “STEAL”. The money raised ($273) will be used to support our charity work.
A big THANK YOU to all the ladies who helped with the Luncheon. There was sooo much to do to make it a fun, successful meeting, and luncheon. Our club has the nicest ladies I know.
A record number of ladies were at the Luncheon at Carrabba’s; 66 ladies attend. Thank you to those who brought a guest. We have many members who are snowbirds, so please let your friends who are snowbirds know about our club. We would welcome them as members and there are many activities that they can participate in during the winter months.
I’m so happy to see some newer members starting new groups. Our 3rd VP Shari Barker as well as the rest of the board are happy to support you in getting a group started.
I hope to see you at the Monthly Meeting / Luncheon on February 20, at Bahama Breeze.

Another exciting event scheduled is a WOW Ladies Cruise. Nov 3-7, 2025 on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas. Please contact me if you are interested. We still have a few cabins on hold. Fully refundable until August of 2025.

Happy New Year!
Don’t forget to bring your new or gently used items (worth $5 or more) to our January 16th Regular Meeting/Lunch at Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and donating them for the 2nd Annual Treasures Sale. Everyone will have an opportunity to purchase these treasures for $5.00 each, and the money will be used for the support of the charities that we’ve collectively chosen.

Ladies, thank you for inviting your friends to join WOW. Our club has a robust 162 members and growing! I also invite you to follow us on Facebook. Renewals for the 2025-26 will be accepted beginning in February. Dues are still $25.00 if paid by May 2025. After that a late fee of $5.00 will be added. The application is on line but I will have copies available at the meeting. We accept cash, check, or Zelle.
We now have a Membership Committee consisting of Shari Barker, Patti Williams, Carolyn Conner, Wynne Sirbu, and Cynthia Johnson-Guarino. Some of these ladies will help you find a fun group to sit with at the luncheon. If you would like to join this committee, please let me know.
